Erstwhile Espadin Mezcal is crafted by master mezcalero Silverio García Luis in Rancho Blanco Güilá, Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. This mezcal is naturally fermented in wood vats in open-air and distilled in copper pots. Bathes were produced in August 2017, March 2018, and May 2018 yielding 1447, 1197, and 997 liters respectively. This mezcal has notes of butterscotch, banana, roasted agave and black tea. The finish lingers, with notes of ash and soft smoke on the palate.
