El Tinieblo Mezcal Reposado 750mL

The El Tinieblo Reposado is produced using traditional methods by mezcalero Don Baltazar Cruz in the state of Tamaulipas. The agaves are cooked in an earthen pit, crushed with a tahona, and the fermented in open air wooden vats. Next, the spirit is doubled-distilled in copper stills and adjusted to a final ABV of 40%. This reposado is aged from 6 to 9 months in American White Oak wooden barrels previously used for bourbon.
